Our Origin Story
The CampConnect! Programs are the brainchild of Andi Owens and E. Dannyette Rouse, born out of the reality that life is and will be different as a result of the pandemic and quarantine. CampConnect! formed under the corporate umbrella of Gaiter and Gadsden, LLLP strives to help parents, schools, and teachers that are trying to balance the work, education, and entertainment of their students every day. As parents, educators, and entrepreneurs, Andi and Dani knew they could help change how everyone views educational support.
Meet the Owners:
As a former educator, administrator, registrar, counselor, academic coach, and project lead on numerous projects, E. Dannyette Rouse is uniquely qualified to understand what is necessary to build programs that help students succeed. She uses her 23 years of experience in the education field to manage the day-to-day administration of the current projects and understands the ever-changing environment of virtual education, tutoring, professional development, and event planning.
Andrea Owens has served as a teacher, academic coach, teacher mentor, and in many leadership roles within schools, community projects, and within her own companies. Having over 18 years in the education field, Andrea has a passion for leadership, learning, professional development, students, interactive STEM projects and field trips, and making a difference one child at a time. She has learned how to pivot in this virtual world and believes there can still be a WOW factor in learning and teaching in this space. She manages the hybrid and in-person projects making sure that success occurs, one student at a time.
